The
interior of this newly refurbished Piper Cherokee Six features many
upgrades. The seating was completely redesigned to achieve a more
modern look. The headliner, metal window moldings, as well as the
upper surface of the cargo door were covered in a wool fabric. The
original foam and paper side panel bases were rebuilt using .025"
aluminum, greatly increasing durability. This is a "must do"
option for most Piper aircraft. The armrests and outdated chrome
bases were covered in leather and are accented by a high gloss wood
veneer inlay. The instrument panel overlays were covered using the
same real wood veneer. A durable nylon carpeting was installed in
a matching color. All seat belts were re-webbed to match the interior
colors. Door openings in the cabin were polished to a high shine. |

The
aft row of seats show the gray leather seating with extended side
bolsters to enhance comfort accented with a channeled insert. |
The
seats were complete restyled using new base foam. This sporty seat
style, with tightly drawn leather, significantly updates the look
of this early '70's Cherokee Six. Custom fabricated Piper logo badges
covered with wood veneer are inset into the seat base foam. |
